The AltaLIS VOD was designed to provide guests and established clients with an interactive preview, quotation and ordering system.  Although anybody can log in as a guest, registered clients can download AltaLIS products directly to their desktop within minutes, 24/7, several times a day.  There is NO charge to sign up for WEB delivery.

 

Formats, datum, projection, and costs vary for each product.  It is good practice to preview and/or print the files before ordering to make sure your coverage is accurate, or if the data you are looking for is there.  Actual sample files are available on the product pages if you are unsure if your software can accept the formats available.

 

The first time you log in to the VOD, you will be prompted to install an Active X Viewer.  This tool will allow you to use the interactive map of Alberta.

 

The AltaLIS Virtual Order Desk is not viewable in Netscape and is best viewed in Internet Explorer 5.5+ at 1152 by 864 pixels.
