In partnership with the Government of Alberta (GOA) and SDW, AltaLIS has created a digital mapping base of public land dispositions. The base is maintained on a daily basis using data from digital submissions, now the standard for filing new dispositions.

 

Approximately 17,000 new dispositions per year are integrated into this base through a daily maintenance cycle. AltaLIS is responsible for the distribution of this product.

 

Surveyors have been submitting Registered Plans digitally for several years.  When a plan is registered at Alberta Land Titles, AltaLIS will receive a copy and integrate it into the Cadastral and Title mapping base. 

 

There are over 15,000 new plans of survey integrated each year.  AltaLIS is responsible to have the most up-to-date data available for distribution.
