Terrain Overview
The Alberta Digital Elevation (DEM) data contains three dimensional spatial ground elevation values representing grid points, break lines, and spot heights that have been compiled using 1:60 000 aerial photography.
These coordinate files can be manipulated and imported into external software for the generation of 3D renderings that will represent a portion of the Earth's terrain or relief.
