Property Overview
AltaLIS is responsible for the updating and maintenance of several property datasets including: Cadastral, Title, Disposition, and other derivative mapping products.

 

Several Property datasets are updated on a daily basis.  With over 15,000 new plans of survey integrated annually, each affecting ownership parcels, and approximately 17,000 new surface activities approved each year, property data is dynamic and requires continuous updating. 

 

Rural cadastral and title mapping is sold by the township, and there are 69 Urban Municipalities maintained as individual files.  Disposition mapping is available in 250K tiles.

 

Derivative products such as ATS Coordinates, Line work, and Municipal Boundaries have update cycles that are dependant upon Government regulated requirements.
